Initao is the first class municipality of Misamis Oriental and this place is widely known for each white beaches with resorts that could cater visitors. Aside from its white beach, it is also known for its conserved forest park "Initao National Park", "Lasang Secret Adventure Park", with underground caves which are know for travellers from CDO to Iligan City.
Tourist visiting in this place can also enjoy snorkeling to fishes around coral reefs. Initao is also known for its abundant in Filipino native foods such as inihaw "sinugbang isda", kilawin "kinilaw na isda", lichon, with delicacies such as "bibingka" and "suman" where tourists can enjoy dining in this place.
You can visit here in Initao from CDO by bus within 1 hour and from Laguindingan International Airport within 45 minutes. You can also visit this place from Iligan City by bus within 45 minutes.
